About

J J Faddoul, smiling, in a grey blazer with a coffee in hand

I’m a data scientist and AI consultant based in Singapore. My work sits between technology, business and humanitarian response.

Background

I studied physics, mathematics and philosophy at the University of Toronto, then an MSc in Operations, Project and Supply Chain Management at the University of Manchester, where I finished top of my class.

I worked in operations engineering at BAE Systems in Glasgow while studying business and management part-time at the University of Cambridge. I then completed an MSc in Marketing Analytics and Insights at the National University of Singapore, graduating as valedictorian.

From 2021 to 2024 I built data science and automation tools at Dell Technologies. In 2024 I founded IMCI, an AI consultancy that works with Fortune 500 companies and global NGOs.

Research focus

I apply supply chain management and machine learning to humanitarian problems: post-conflict agricultural supply chains in Lebanon, disease outbreak forecasting in South-East Asia, and sentiment analysis for disaster fundraising. See my research.
